About Ends + Stems

Ends+Stems has been providing meal plans that help reduce food waste for almost 2 years now. Chef Alison writes, tests, and cooks each recipe. Our recipes have been mostly 30 minute meals that use easy to find ingredients from most grocery stores in the U.S.

Alison has a 5 year old and a 3 year old and people often assume they are “little foodies”. They are not. One will not eat potatoes; neither kid will eat “red sauce” on pasta; one won’t eat egg yolks and the other won’t eat the whites; the little one is an accidental vegetarian and nobody will eat a meatball!

What Alison didn’t realize until now is that her skills as a chef allow her to see a “kid approved” meal within each recipe for a “grown up” meal. As she cooks, she seamlessly pulls out ingredients and alters some steps to produce a plate of food that everyone in the family will eat. We know that’s the information non-professional-chef-parents like you want! The Ends+Stems Easy Meal Plans for Busy Families will break it all down step by step for you. We’ll have details and photos for both toddlers and school aged kids, and ideas to encourage good attitudes around food.

Since we’re now hyper-focussed on making dinner time easier for parents of school aged kids, we’re introducing this program as a limited capacity beta program and we want your feedback as we go. In exchange for a short monthly survey, beta members will be locked into a discounted subscription price and we’ll have bonuses for social media shares too.
